Thames Festival

Uhh with work everyday from 9 am I find it really hard to get to writing a proper post now >< but I want to~ xD Yet again I think telling the story through photos will work best xD
So this time about Thames festival, which took place the weekend 11-12th September. Honestly we all went mostly for the Korean section xD and were not let down ~^__^~ 

wearing my new black lenses (review soon) and hair re dyed again~  it's time for my roots thought xD

(I hate how small "large" photo size is, but "X-Large" is too big, anyone knows how to get around this?)

For a start we met 1pm at Westminster, which failed as there was only 3 of us for an hour or more, once Nana finally arrived we decided to move on and meet any more people later. And in fact once we came up to London Eye we met Gayle (kyaaaa! I haven't seen my lovely sister for good 5 months! since she was in Japan, Spain and forever working xD). I really didn't understand the concept of this festival... and never did in the end xD There wasn't anything particularly interesting as we walked along the Thames (maybe except those freaking weird paper bag hats so many people wore o_O, and countless food stalls, if that interests you~).

But after a looong time, and countless stops, we finally reached the Korean section xD

It wasn't anything big but we were satisfied~ fist thing was a stall with some Cube merch, for very low prices (I don't really care, but Racheal was spazzing xD), next to it was Karaoke/Norebang. Popular Kpop songs were playing in the back as we inspected the various attractions.

there was a tiny stall next to it with plush animals! not only a Yoohoo! We were standing there forever trying to decided what to get~ The key chains were only £2! =O

yes, it's the orignal character xD I couldn't resist him, was also considering getting the super cute flying squirrel. His name is Okabe (or Rin-chan!)

 I got Nana a penguin, and I can't remember what Faye had >< (why didn't I take any photo's there? o_o)

but with the key chain everyone got a phone charm free! =O

he is also a screen cleaner! xD attached it to my camera, since I already have a phone charm.

It's pink so it should probably be a girl xD Let's name it Ruka-chan (Rukako)

After leaving the Korean section we decided it's very much time to eat xD Therefore we walked up to Waterloo and took a bus back to out usual spot - Leicester Square ^^ We were headed for a Korean restaurant but it was closed for another hour so chose Chinese instead~ Afterwards (when the rain was pouring like crazy all of sudden) some headed home, and in a smaller group we went for purikura! (every week now! ) We spent over an hour if not two there xD It's just so much fun... and we are so bad at decorating (~^∀^~)

Gigi's birthday ~

For some reason I keep putting of this post~ I had so much time since saturday but still nothing >_< Gotta get to it thought before I forget all @_@ Just gonna keep it short~ xD
So yes, last saturday I went to London to celebrate Gigi's birthday~ the youngest member of our group!

look for the day~

as you can see my hair was faded already (2 washes) but I didn't want to dye it again yet (plus I didn't have the time)

As usual I arrived first and started panicking cause we didn't specify an exact spot other than Leicester Square station... that place is huge with god knows how many exits xD plus it was super packed with people x_x but soon I managed to find Dayle, and Gigi afterwards~ After over an hour of wait Nana and Faye joined us, and we went towards Japan Centre to grab something to eat (I was pretty much starving at this point xD). Spent a long time in Starbucks, until Ellie and Eilish joined us ^_^

I was really bad with photos that day so not much xD 

we all headed for the purikura machine~ it's been so long since I've been there! xD

After purikura we wanted to go eat, but some people decided to leave and in the end we just got some bubble tea and headed home~ Summarizing... awesome day! I love my unicorns the most~ xD 

On a different note I got a job!! Yes it's voluntary work and I don't get paid a penny, but I'm super excited xD I will be working in a pharmacy for two weeks~ (so just until I get back to uni) That's always something nice to put on my CV, the work section was freaking empty before xD 

Well, that's all for today! Next will probably be Thames festival, I'm going this sunday ^_^

PACKAGES!

OMG! My packages finally arrived! (thought not all yet) There hasn't been any post arriving to my house in a whole week, so I was getting a bit annoyed~ but finally today the post man arrived with a load of boxes and packages xD And here they are~

 the box was humongous xD ...and mostly empty inside, why you give me such a huge box! xD  

The two girls on the left came from the box, I got Miku last week, but she wanted to be in the photo xD

I wanna get all the MKR dolls~ Hikaru is the easiest to get, my fav Umi being the hardest unfortunately

I got 3 pairs! well I ordered 2; one for me and one for Michelle for our cosplay, and they send me a 3rd pair extra! ^__^

OMG

I was actually planning on getting those lenses soon! I'm so excited! I wanted a black pair for ages~

gonna open them and wear this weekend, I hope it blend with my colour nice ^^

They are 14.5 mm

also pinky paradise has new lens cases now, replacing the old animal cases~

they aren't as cute, but the design is small and compact

they also added the awesome hair grip thing that everyone has now days and some super cool looking eye-masks, forgot to take photos thought~

Body Shop

So I went to town on thursday and decided to go into body shop since I wanted to get their new bronzer for a while~ and here it is~

it's from the Honey Bronze collection and I got in shade 02, fair matte

They only have 3 colours and all of them look quite light so I asked the lady working there which one should I get, and no.2 was the answer~ it blends super nice and is light, but I can barely see it, maybe 03 would be a better choice after all... want to try it out a bit more first thought~

they had a lot of different promotions on that day, once of which was "spend £19 and get a free gift worth £21" yeah I'm a sucker for such things and I lost right away xD to go up to 19 (the bronzer was £13) I got the  Vitamin E cream cleanser, I already had the mini size and I love it~ It cleans my face super well, leaving it soft, moisturised and smelling nice~ 

and here is my free gift~ mascara, black pencil liner and make-up remover

I tried their make-up remover before and hate it; works same as water + stings eyes horribly ><

but I wanted to try out a new mascara and a spare eyeliner is always good xD haven't tried them yet but my mum used the mascara and it was really nice~ we usually use the volumizing ones with huge, thick brushes, this one is very thin and long, therefore good for length. It gave her long and define lashes with good separation, but little volume, depends what look you like really~

And lastly there was 30% off on your purchase... if you have the body shop card, which I don't have. So I got it and the 30% covered it's cost xD

it does cost £5, so it's best to get it when a sale is on, but it's really a great investment if you buy often at body shop! it gives you 10% off every time plus with each purchase they stamp it and you get free gifts! pretty cool~

on another make-up note~ Bubzbeauty finally released her brushes! They are available in her shop~

I really don't have any good brushes, most of the time I use my fingers + crappy ebay brushes, so I was extremely excited for this, they are supposed to be high quality but affordable prices~

I ordered the Basic Set

It includes a powder brush, multi retractable brush, dual cover brush, dual eyes brush and an angled liner.

I'm super excited to get them xD For some reason I was sure the set includes the HD flawless brush... but it doesn't >_< I might order it next time if I'm satisfied with those brushes~

Oh dear~ Every day I wanna make a post but something comes up, I'm busy all day and have no time >_< I'm currently looking for a work experience in a pharmacy, to help me with getting my work placement next year, but no luck so far >< continue tomorrow~ ofc my printer had to die on me in the middle of printing my CV XD

But what I wanted to write about is Sunday's outing to London~ On thursday (25th) it's been 6 months that I'm with my bf~ (how did this time go so fast!! o_O), it was raining that day and I was feeling sick, so decided to move it to Sunday (since there was a plan for the evening already~)

So my look for the day~

excuse my super flat hair xD it wasn't cooperating, to balance it out my take on the Mode hair scarf thing~ 

and my outfit~ also Mode inspired, my sweater really should be shorter thought, it was cutting off my legs

I wanna wear maxi all the time now xD it's just soooo comfy xD 

Caught by the sudden rain we run into Japan centre where I got new Jelly and some melon pan (it's on sale for 99p now cause of the 35th anniversary!) 

first time getting Jelly~ I've been slowly getting into Mode lately, I kinda feel with reaching 20 I should become a bit more mature, also with my style~
but Mana's show probably also influenced me xD check out kawaii dotto I~ it's great ^__^

Once we got out of Japan Centre, the rain was gone and didn't come back all day (thought it was a bit windy and cloudy at times), so we headed to St. James park and spend there all day before the cinema.

Also I got my late bday/anniversary(?) gift ^__^ 

a panda! haha I love pandas, this one is quite the regular size(a bit bigger than a book maybe?) I want a whole pyramid from small to huge~ xD 

Evangelion! kyaa~ I bought 1.11 on Hyper and was going to get this one soon ^__^ now just waiting for them to finally get the 3rd part out ^_^

And the final is the main event xD going to cinema to see Inbetweeners movie! 

Getting to Angel was quite a pain, since Nothern line was closed, but by pure luck we met Nana at King's Cross and we took the bus together ^_^ waited for a bit for everyone to arrive and went in... to find out there are only 4 seats left in the front row (note there was 6 of us). What to do next? Decided to leave the cinema and search for another screening somewhere close. Chose Camden and somehow managed to get in on time xD the cinema turned out to be tiny and uncomfortable and we were sat in the front row xD Didn't really bother me thought~ once the movie started I completely forgot about our position~

I heard some mixed comments on the movie, but I loved it! It was great, epic and amazing! yeah it was extremely stupid and ridiculous but that's exactly what this series is about~ (and I watched the whole 3 seasons the week before). It was very funny, slightly disturbing at times (with more nakedness than I expected) but extremely enjoyable~  

Afterwards we headed quickly to McD's and home (well me and Alex, I know the rest spend there good 2 hours talking xD shame I don't live in London and have to always hurry for the train >_<). I need more time with my unicorns! and people are going back to school or leaving for uni now, omg I miss everyone already! >o<  

And that's about it for today~ A bit hurried cause I wanna go sleep and I'm busy again tomorrow xD
